Fundraiser for Funeral of Clark James Gable

Update: Autopsy results reveal Clark passed from a accidental Fentanyl, Percocet, and Xanax overdose. This does not change how much I miss my friend Clark. May he Rest In Peace 😢

Being a Hollywood Historian I've had the Privilege of knowing some family members of stars of the silent and golden age of Hollywood History. I live 12 miles from The Birthplace of The King of Hollywood Clark Gable. 
On and off for 8 years I served as a bridge between The Clark Gable Museum and The Gable Family in CA. at times it was a Thankless job dealing with Gable's only son John Clark Gable but it was always a joy talking to Gable's only Grandson Clark James Gable.

Clark was always polite, friendly, down to earth. loved to Fish and Surf. He loved his family especially the women of his family. He'd do anything for his family He also was so proud of his heritage and legacy as being the only Grandson of Clark Gable. 

His father John was the exact opposite.

John wanted nothing to do with Hollywood unless it was a "Big Check" regarding his father's estate. He sold his Father's Oscar to Steven Spielberg for money and Spielberg donated it back to the Motion Picture Academy where it is today. 
He seemed bitter that he never knew his dad which was never his fault nor was it Clark Gable's fault that he died of a massive heart attack when his Wife Kay was 4 months Pregnant with him. His Half Brother Adolph gave him drugs when he was young and sadly he gave his children drugs when they were young. A real Ryan O'Neal Type

On February 22, 2019 Clark James Gable Clark Gable's only Grandson died in his sleep and as of right now the cause is undetermined. 


John who in my opinion was always jealous of his son is refusing to bury Clark in the Family plot in Forest Lawn. A family friend has started a gofundme page to help pay for Funeral Expenses Clark leaves behind a 17 month old Daughter Shore.

    I do not understand the father. I think John did not go to his son's funeral.
    I think this man is not very well in the head.
    I feel sad for Clark Gable III.

A simple story really right? We’ve all heard about it, it was quite the scandal of 1921. Boy decided to celebrate a big movie contract rents 3 rooms at the St. Francis Hotel in San Francisco. Boy meets swarmy Madam then Boy meets Girl, Boy helps Girl who is sick on the toilet and she dies 4 days later...Boy is Arrested for Murder.  Simple Right?  The Beginning Labor Day Weekend September 1921 Roscoe Arbuckle was celebrating Adolph Zucker signing him to a 3 year 1 Million a year contract.
